The community will have an opportunity to see how the artists at the Arts at Canal Place cooperative gallery "supersize" their art. In keeping with the concept developed by your favorite fast-food restaurants, Arts at Canal Place has decided to “supersize” this next exhibit, and give its artist members an opportunity to show off their extra large, oversized works in the upstairs loft area. These artists have some super talent, and can work in super size, but space in the lower level of the gallery is usually at a premium, since it is filled with jewelry, pottery, wood, and the many other 3-dimensional items that are always available for sale.
The "Supersized" exhibition in the upstairs loft gallery will feature a variety of photography, paintings and sculptural artwork.
